Franchising - What are the rewards?
If you love languages and like children, then you’ll find running a Little Fidgets franchise incredibly rewarding. Nothing quite beats that truly magical moment when a child says their first word in French or Spanish, or that feeling of real pride when a pupil at your after-school class finds the confidence to say a whole sentence in a foreign language.
At Little Fidgets we believe that the best teachers are ones who really enjoy their job. That’s why we’ve put so much work into developing the Fidgets method to make it just as much fun for teachers to deliver as for children to participate in. Our action songs, puppets and slightly irreverent approach to language learning help to create lots of humorous and magical moments that mean you come out of a lesson with a real buzz and lifted spirits. One of the comments we often hear from our teachers is how pleased they are not only to have a job that enables them to use their language skills, but that also gives them a chance to show others how great language learning can be.
All the children who attend Little Fidgets classes are there because they want to be there, so they are willing, keen and a pleasure to teach. You’ll also find it’s a really sociable activity – not only are you interacting with delightful children but you also build a relationship with nursery staff and parents.
Our lesson plans have been written by qualified teachers and native speakers. The Fidgets method has been tried and tested by a range of teachers in a variety of settings so you know that you are operating a system that really works. You don’t have to spend time on planning and we also provide all the teaching resources so you don’t have to spend the night before a class cutting out flash cards etc. If you’re not a qualified teacher, don’t worry, you don’t need to be, as we will take you through our training process.
If you don’t speak much French or Spanish you can hire in teachers (again, we can help you with this) and concentrate on running the business side of things. Because we have classes for day nurseries, for parents and under-fives in church halls AND lunchtime/afterschool classes in primary schools, you’ve got a great product range to make your business a real success.
It’s hard work running a Little Fidgets franchise – you do have to be prepared to put in lots of time and energy. But because you’re self-employed, it is a career you can build around your family – you can watch your children and your business grow at the same time! Indeed, you’ll probably find the family want to get involved and help you with leafleting or choosing your weekly snack!
Franchising is a safe and low cost way to start your own business because it’s a business model that’s been tested and is thriving.
